Matcha cake with coco nibs

matcha cake with cacao nibsPerfect 2-girls-having-a-cup-of-tea-chit-chat noon cake.

Some lovely friends just turn-up surprisingly. When you lucky enough and you just know a little bit in advance. This is the perfect simple cake to bake for a delight afternoon.

What do you need:

– 100 grams flour
– 100 grams raw cane sugar
– 100 grams butter
– 3 eggs
– 6 tbl. spoons Matcha green tea powder ( I always buy this as a drink powder in the asian supermarket, some contain more sugar then others )
– pinch of baking soda
– 3 grams tartaric acid baking powder
– Handfull of raw coco nibs
– Small baking tin.

How to prepare:

Wisk the eggs, sugar and butter for 6 minutes. Add all dry ingredient (except the coco nibs) and mix well together. Pour the batter in the baking tin. Sprinkle on top the coco nibs and bake the cake for 50 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degree.
